A writer and teaching artist, Erica Lorraine Scheidt is at work on her second novel for young adults, tentatively titled A Girl Like Me. Her debut novel, Uses for Boys will be published by St. Martin's Press in early 2013 and received a 2011 work-in-progress award from Amazon.com. Erica is currently a 2012 Artist in Residence at Headlands Center for the Arts.
