- AIDS CLINICAL TRIAL GROUP (ACTG)
The ACTG is the largest HIV clinical trials program in the world and is the parent organization of the Indiana University Infectious Disease Research Clinic (IDRC). The clinic provides CD4 counts and viral loads to HIV positive persons to determine if they qualify for a variety of clinical trials. The IDRC may be reached at 317-274-8456.

Brothers United provides HIV/STD prevention, education and awareness to the African-American Gay / Bisexual, Same Gender Loving Men and Transgender communities of Marion County, Indianapolis.
- Damien Center
The Damien Center is an HIV/AIDS prevention and service organization whose mission is to empower persons in Central Indiana affected by HIV/AIDS to move forward each day with dignity and to lead the fight to prevent the spread of HIV.
- Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis
The Health Foundation supports projects from regional not-for-profit health-related causes and programs, particularly those that helped our community's poorest and most vulnerable citizens.

One of the most comprehensive, up-to-date HIV/AIDS medical information sites in the world. It has sections for health providers as well as for patients.
- Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center (MATEC)
MATEC is a member of the national AIDS Education and Training Center network that aims to conduct targeted, multi-disciplinary education and training programs for healthcare providers treating persons with HIV/AIDS.

- American Social Health Association
Since 1914, the American Social Health Association (ASHA) has been dedicated to improving the health of individuals, families, and communities, with a focus on preventing sexually transmitted diseases and infections (STDs/STIs) and their harmful consequences.

- inSPOT Indiana: Internet Partner Notification Services
Inspot is a way to help prevent transmission of STDs and HIV. You can use this Internet tool to notify everyone you've had sex (including oral sex) with in the past six months. Talking to your sex partners, even virtually, helps take away the stigma associated with STDs and… it's proven to reduce transmission.
- National Coalition of STD Directors
A group of STD program directors that has unified to serve as advocates and policy advisors for strategies to control STDs. They also post information about important developments in STDs and upcoming meetings.
- National Network of STD Training Centers
The National Network of STD/HIV Prevention Training Centers (PTCs) is a CDC-funded group of regional centers created in partnership with health departments and universities. The PTCs are dedicated to increasing the knowledge and skills of health professionals in the areas of sexual and reproductive health. The National Network provides health professionals with a spectrum of state-of-the-art educational opportunities, including experiential learning with an emphasis on prevention.
- San Francisco City Clinic
The San Francisco City STD clinic has served as one of the leaders in STD care. Their site served as the model for the current site and is worth a visit.
